Digitron is excited to announce the launch of our SMCJ and SMCG 1500 Watt Transient Voltage Suppressor series.
 
Introduced in 2012 in tin/lead plating finish, SMCJ/SMCG’s are specifically designed to meet the needs of our aerospace and defense customers, who may be prohibited from utilizing RoHS and lead free devices.
 
They protect a variety of voltage sensitive components from destruction and/or degradation, and are available in different surface mount packages and selections. Electrically equivalent devices are also available in Axial leaded packages.
 
As with all Digitron product lines, HR – JANTX level equivalent screening is available as an option.
 
Majority of the series is in full production with many devices entering on hand inventory in early 2013. Typical lead time for non-stock devices is at 8-12 weeks and is projected to fall to 4-8 weeks by the third quarter of 2013.
