Conflict Minerals Statement

Friday, November 1, 2013
The Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act came into effect on January 1, 2013 and Section 1502 relates specifically to “Conflict Minerals”. Digitron Semiconductors takes this legislation extremely seriously.  Although Digitron Semiconductors is exempt from the reporting requirements of the act, processes are being setup to ensure compliance with the legislation.
As part of our comprehensive due diligence:
  • Digitron Semiconductors has determined that certain products incorporate one or more of the identified “Conflict Minerals”.
  • Digitron Semiconductors is working on a procedure to communicate the new requirements to suppliers to ensure compliance with the requirement.
  • Digitron Semiconductors has undertaken the development of a company policy with respect to “Conflict Minerals”.

The above processes are all in various stages of being completed.  At this time, to the best of Digitron Semiconductors' knowledge, no products contain “Conflict Minerals”
